1. BSOD (BlueScreen) or -1, 0, 273 code errors on start-up

Make sure you do not have any Antivirus installed (even disabled they may interfere with kernel activity), except default Windows Defender. Do not forget to add an exception for the UCS Folder and the temp file that gets created at Windows Defender (click Manage settings under Virus & Threat Protection > Add or Remove Exclusions). Then Run UCS (it will still fail, because you need to also allow the temp file) and click on Protection History and allow the temp file (it will have a random name).

In some cases Real Time Protections setting in Windows Defender should also be disabled

Uninstall all virtualization tools, including VMware, Hyper-V (bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off) and Sandbox (Windows features), Android Simulators and Anti-Cheat platforms such as “faceit” or “riot vanguard”. Also make sure Memory Integration (a Windows setting) is disabled

On some Windows hosts with an EFI BIOS, DeviceGuard or CredentialGuard may be active by default, and interferes with OS level virtualization apps in the same way that Hyper-v does. These features need to be disabled. On Pro versions of Windows you can do this using gpedit.msc (set Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard > Turn on Virtualization Based Security to Disabled

Run PC Checker again and make sure you have all the “green ticks”. Sometimes the PC Checker may not be accurate, so go to BIOS settings and make sure all “Virtualization” or “Intel VT-x” related settings are enabled

If you still cannot solve it, do not hesitate to compress “C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP” and send it over to our technical support (Fury#4360 in Discord) along with installed apps and PC Checker screenshots for further help

2. The current game version is not supported

To ensure maximum security, UCS may take up to 24 hours to update its core after a WoW patch lands. Check the supported game version on our home page
